Pranesh, you suck.

I correct your pset even when I suspect it wasn't actually my turn to (proofreading psets 4 and 6 when there are 3 graders), you don't even use the whole pset that I proofread because it was made into a shorter pset (which isn't your fault, actually), and somehow the polar coordinates in your solution are still neither consistent nor correct. I send you this correction significantly before the pset is released, yet you seem to have either blatently ignored it or lost it in your inbox. I'm sure you're a great grad student, but I was under the impression that most physics grad students were familiar with things like simple coordinate systems and correcting their own mistakes. so now, rather than use the solutions that should be correct, I must waste my own time rediscovering the correct formulas that I sent you a couple of weeks ago. I'm glad you care so much for accuracy in your work.

unless cos(theta) and sin(phi) are actually interchangeable. if that's the case, I think I quit physics for good.
