In 24 hours, a trip to Mexico can be eventful.
Friday 3PM: Decide to go on a fishing trip in Mexico. I really have no idea what to expect, but just hoping to catch something.
Friday 8PM: I'm a little late, but finally leave Orange County for Mexico.
Friday 10PM: Cross the border. Got apprehensive, because although we're under the same sky, it is a completely different world out there.
Friday 10:30PM: Arrive in Rosarito. We're expecting to wake up 6AM to go fishing, but decide to go out for some tacos.
Friday 11PM: End up in Papas & Beer - the most surreal place (a club full of Americans, women flashing people while standing on the bar, a sand volley bar court, and dance floor all next to each other.) I tried my 1st bull ride.....it was great.
Friday 1AM: Leave and get stopped by the Mexican police for speeding a little. I needed to use the restroom real bad and finally had to get of the car while my friend pukes in the middle of the street in front of the police. We all thought we were going to jail. Fortunately, we got back safely.
Sat 6:30AM: Wake up and drive to Ensenada.
Sat 9AM: Eat seafood breakfest and finally leave on our fishing trip.
Sat 11AM: Got sea sick and my breakfest went straight into the ocean. Yum for the birds.
Sat 12PM: Caught my first fish ever (Rock Fish)....eventually caught many more but the prize ones were my 2 Yellow Tails. Yes - sashimi.
Sat 6PM: Arrived back to shore, then back to Rosarito, then to San Diego for Pho, and FINALLY - HOME SWEET HOME.
