My left ankle hurts and I still feel groggy from my dumb ass being up till almost 3am. I wonder if I had too much Coke last night. Bleah. I feel kinda crappy

I like the one(firefly episode) where the obnoxious mercenary gets kicked into the engine.
As yolen said, I don't know of a bad episode, but that moment was truly inspired. I love how Firefly boldly walked into all the standard formulaic situations, and then abruptly turned them inside out. Some be-tattooed lunatic, who is at your mercy, threatens to chase you for the rest of your life and bury a knife in your chest? Anywhere else, there would be ominous music, and for some unfathomable reason the captain would put the fellow down where the local authorities could find him (and put him in prison, from where he'd escape roundabout the middle of the third season). Mal Reynolds? Nooooo, thanks very kindly for the suggestion, but I think I'll deal with this threat right now, while the odds are in my favor.
Yes, Mal did the sensible thing, unlike tv captains of yore :). Simple, but effective. Of course, like fings mentioned over the weekend, you ahve to wonder if flunkie #2 actually went and returned the money to Niska, not wanting to be the bearer of bad news to such a whackjob.
My son is a fan of the show, I actually built a supplement of my roleplaying game to run Firefly-but the other kids in his group preferred the Hellboy Universe-which I actually changed to the Hellboy/Constantine Universe. Fun as that was I thought FIrefly would make some interesting gaming.
The one where Jayne is a hero is pretty good too.
Be well.
