You learn something new every day (especially when you're newlyweds!) :)

Today, after Honey read my post in community Gaza2009, he commented: "Wow, there are people out there who are more extremist than you!" I smiled through a dirty look. Then, his friend from college friended him on FaceBook and I read the guy's status and notes regarding the conflict: "Wow," I said, "there are people out there more liberal than you!" Live and learn, right? :) This was the first time in 11 days that I was able to smile. Sincerely smile.

For the past few months, I have started keeping a mental list of things we teach each other and things we learn to like because of each other. Here is a very short summary, just to demostrate my point:

I got Honey into:
-MSNBC
-Aasiv Mandvi on "The Daily Show"
-pho
-"House"
-Trofim (Updated Jan. 14, 2009 after Honey asked whether I listed him here)

Honey got me into:
-NPR
-"The Daily Show"
-"Arrested Development"
-"Harry Potter" (I read the entire series in 29 days, ha!)
