Memory: July-August 2006
It's just getting more and more strange and frustrating. When everyone got their own projects to do (Kame had Sapuri; Junno had Happy2; Koki had My boss my hero; Koki and Junno had KT style; Koki and Maru hosted Youtachi; Maru hosted Shounen Club; Maru and Ueda had R-one), there's nothing for Jin. Jin mentioned in his interviews that he once assisted KT style and apparently he had nothing much to do when everybody else was busy.
It was really a hard time for Jin fans. What did KT debut mean to Jin and Jin fans? It's a question.
August had a lot of promotions of 24TV program. Almost all the titles in the newspaper simply stated Kamenashi and KT. For five pre-debut years, Jin had played a key role in KT and had built a huge fanbase for himself and for the group as well. When the time finally came and he deserved everything, he was pushed back for no reason.
Jin looked sick. He looked dead in Music Station for Signal promo in July, and he also looked dead in 24TV presscon and promos. He became more and more quiet, and sometimes he gave out such a mature feeling that we could no longer recognize him as that happy baka.
In Baila July, Jin said that he's not gonna kiss up however great the people may be. I still remember the title of the interview--the Unbroken Wings.
2006 July and August left me a gutted feeling. With 6 months waiting for nothing, the feeling just got really strong. I started to ask--what's the point for him to waste time in a company that treats him like that?
Other than that feeling, I remembered the first live of Signal in Utawara, and some pieces and bits from 24TV program.
