I finally have to go back to school today. I didn't sleep last night. Like, at all. Seriously, I was so upset about having to go back to school I couldn't sleep.
Anyway, so much has happened recently. My mother came and left, so did Ryo, I got like 250 dollars from people for New Year's and spent it all right away, I went to Pachinko, I made my first attempt to stay out all night since I got to Japan (it was thwarted by my friend's parents), my host mother caught me smoking and told me it would stunt my growth, I ate at a 100-dollar a plate restaurant for the first time since I was too little to remember... um... et cetera. More excitement than I'd had in a while over the break. Even so, it was decided that I'd come home in February, a couple months earlier than previously planned.
