It's only an education
My rail pass expired two days ago so I didn't go to school yesterday. It's about 80 dollars for a three-month pass from the station nearest to me house and the one nearest to my school, but a two-way one-times ticket is like five bucks. WTF? So I just stayed home, because school isn't worth it.
Anyway, I spent the day being a housewife. I woke up at nine and hung the laundry up to dry, cleaned the toilets and vacuumed the floor. Did some other menial tasks and then went to the public bath with my host mother for like two hours. Had sushi for lunch before my host mother left for work, and then resumed laundry. I watched the first half of a rerun of my favorite soap opera and then walked my six-year-old host cousin to her friend's house when she came back to school. When we got to the door, the friends mother asked me if I was Tina's mother (she's half-white with hair just like mine). I walked home and made dinner and talked on the phone for like 3 hours.
It would fucking suck to be a housewife. I came to school today.
P.S. my mother is coming in three weeks and I think I don't want to see her.
P.P.S. I've spent like 300 hundred dollars talking on the phone with Dave Tombleson since I've gotten here.
