Manhwa

Today is my official get back into school mode. I went to math, was almost in tears from that asshole professor (though I now have a new found liking towards the graduate assistant, Janak), got some Seattle's Best coffee, and am now eating breakfast for the first time since August. I'm hoping to go to all classes today without any problems.

I think I'm just emotional today. I got teary eyed just from watching the preview for the final episode of Jon and Kate plus 8.

Tokyopop has been doing special features on INVU. I'm super excited that that series is finally off of hiatus. Even for only having three volumes, its a good series and I've been looking forward to volume 4 for a loooong time. Tokyopop did an article on how manhwa is not as popular as manga. Can people really tell the difference? Most of the time, the only time I realize that it is a manhwa series is when I happen to look at the name of the artist/author. Sure sometimes they have Korean names and that's kind of a give away, but then you have series like Demon Diary. That manhwa featured characters named Eclipse, Raenef, and Chris (and is, by the way, a GREAT series with a hint of yaoi o_<) I still am forever resentful for Tokyopop's decision to stop the production of the series Ragnarok. Gah that series was a favorite....only for it to stop forever at volume 10 (though supposedly it spans over 50 volumes in Korea!).

I was curious and just checked Tokyopop online and it's saying the creator has stopped working on the series to focus on the MMORPG....but then how come Tokyopop hasn't finished translating all the volumes out in Korea Y_Y I want my Chaos, Loki, and Skurai back...for some crazy crack yaoi XD (Ragnarok has the BEST omakes in each volume).

tv: jon and kate, school, manga: demon diary, manga: invu, manga, manga: ragnarok, tokyopop
