An official con hotel will cost you $100-somethin a day. Cheaper ones that are of a reasonable distance away will cost you $80 to $90. Personally, I don't mind the extra bux for the con hotel, cuz you'll get dibbs on event tix. And you get to use the free shuttle.
Parking in LA bites your wallet big time.
