So, me and the family were at Wal Mart tonight shopping for my two nieces birthday presents. Sydnay and Gillian's birthdays are around the same time, and since Sydnays's birthday is on Thanksgiving, My brother, his wife and the girls are coming up for thanksgiving. I wish my sister was coming, but I will be able to see her this weekend. I'm going to visit Alabama (AGAIN) tomorrow after Amtgard.
Anyways. In the discount toy isle in Wal Mart I found one of the most awesome toys I think I have ever seen.
Dino Magic.
What this toy is, is this: There are 28 Dinos you can collect and connect. 12 dinosaurs which are common to get, are from the Cretaceous period. 8 which are uncommon to get are from the Jurassic period. And there are 4 rare ones from the triassic period, and there are 4 other ultra rare ones that are bones. The package comess with 6 eggs. The eggs are unwrapped, and put in a pot of warm water, where they fizz away revealing the decapatated parts of a dinosaur from one of the 4 catagories. You collect the parts out of the bottom of the pan and assemble them! Hopefully getting an ultra rare dinosaur, or one of the rare ones. The rare ones are really cool including a Longisquama, which I love. THe Coelophysis is awesome too.
When I got home, I went ahead and hatched one. Delighted to find an uncommon Allosaurus. I put his head where his tail should have been and my mummy said "That is a dinosaur only a mother could love." It was so funny! I fixed him though, and he looked much better. Heh.
I start off by caressing the special blue egg! I'm saving this one for last, since it is the only blue one! Well.. There is a lone yellow and orange egg too, but blue is more awesomer.
Here, allosaurus curiously examines his brothers' and sisters' vessels.
Daddysaurus attemps to eat my young, but he wouldnt have gotten away with that without a fierce battle. I ended his life easily.
Here is a very innapropriate picture of me laying eggs.
Noticing that it was time for one of the green eggs to hatch, I quickly readied some warm water in a pan.
Allosaurus climbs up to get a better view.
Ain't he cute? :3
Carefully, I lower the egg into the water...
The chemicals smelled really good, by the way.
Isn't birth grotesque!?
Allosaurus got a little too curious, so I had to save him before he fell in.
I'm too big to fall in. Hehe.
The fizz stopped!!! What do we have here?
Kyaaa!!! What creature is this? :D
Allosaurus rolling on the floor laughing. (I accidently knocked him over. He isn't very good at standing yet. :3)
Why... It's a Parasaurolophus, a common dinosaur from the cretaceous period!!!! AWWWWW!!!!!!!
Parasaurolophus is pissed because Allosaurus won't stop laughing at his ridiculous name.
Oh well. I'm sure they will warm up to each other. :)
OR NOT!!!!! O_O;;;
It's going to be tough managing 6 baby dinosaurs. *sigh*
But this Magic Dino thing was totally worth the ten bucks. I want the others for christmas. I want to collect them all. xD If only they had some sort of battle system, this would be a new fad. (I wish)
