Last night, while at karaoke, I got a call from Jim.
My mother was admitted to a hospital in Hawaii the other day because she was dehydrated. They started her on fluids, but she began to get confused. Yesterday the confusion got worse, so they gave her a CT scan.
They found lesions in her brain.
We're getting her home just as soon as we safely can. Jim will be talking to a neurosurgeon today and giving me a call, but we all know this is the beginning of the end.
