Manga Rant
I was going to post a list of my drama CD's... but then I really felt the urge to rant about a one shot I read a few days ago. I don't really think people like hearing my rants about manga so I figured I'd spare people the trouble and let them read only if they want to.
Anyway, so at first I thought that the story was going to be a very cliched smut story because the main girl (a high school student) was going to tutor a younger boy (a middle school student). So I figured it'd be the standard, the boy has always secretly lusted after the girl so when she tries to teach him he rapes her while insulting her and then later on another guy will confess to her. She'll reject him because she's obsessed with the boy she tutors who happened to rape her and then the guy who confessed will try to rape her too but then the middle schooler will show up and kick the high school boy's ass (because we all know that eleventh graders are way weaker than ninth graders) and then the girl will be happy and confess her undying love to the younger guy and he'll be happy because he thought she hated him (Oh, I wonder why? Maybe because you raped her?!?!) and then they'll live happily ever after.
Okay, so I've only read two stories like that, but I can already tell that it's a cliche >.>
Anyways, so the girl gets there and the guy is very very cute. So cute that she finds herself instantly smitten, but embarrassed about it because he's two years younger than her. She attempts to teach him, finds him adorable and "accidentally" forces herself on him. She apologizes, he says he didn't mind, and at this point I started wondering if the girl was going to rape the guy which didn't make any sense to me because the story started with how the girl was waiting for the perfect love who would be handsome like Gackt or Hyde (which I find funny because Hyde isn't good looking in my opinion) and how he'd be rich and drive either a Ferrari or some other ridiculously expensive sports car and for that reason hasn't even ever been kissed. So, my hunch is completely incorrect and she runs away.
The time day she comes back and tries really hard to resist his cuteness -_- She fails and winds up imagining a situation when she's "teaching" him things about his body and gets a nosebleed. The boy promptly kisses her and acts like "Oh, Sensei, I really liked it when you kissed me teach me that sort of thing because I'm inexperienced." She makes out with him, feels horrible and runs away again.
The next scene shows her being confessed to. She remembers how her friend criticized her for being a virgin and wonders "Hm, if I have sex maybe I won't lust after a younger boy anymore" so she says "Okay, I'll be your girlfriend" and the random guy takes her outside to have sex. She decides she can't do it because she's in love with the middle schooler and he tries to force himself on her. She confesses her feeling out loud and the weird boy hits the would-be-rapist with a bat and beats the crap out of him. She freaks out and the boy admits that he's actually very experienced and only pretended to be innocent to get her attention and how it was very obvious that she was a virgin. She freaks out and he tells her that he did it when he was 11 because that's common in the US (where he's from) luckily there is an Author's Note pointing out that this totally isn't true. He pulls his cutesy face on her and she turns to mush as he decides that he's going to be the one teaching his "Sensei" and then it ends. Very very weird story.
For those wondering it's called Yuuwaku Lesson. I downloaded it from a collection called Dare Nimo Himitsu no Koi Monogatari and if you want to read it I am very willing to upload it for you. There is my rant. Since it's a rant it's not surprising that I actually just described the story in a very weird way.
