Good Moods are Contagious!
:DDDD Today was a really great day! First, I woke up early and watched four episodes of Winx Club finishing season 1! Then I had to go to Starbucks for a meeting that I thought was tomorrow but my mom said was today, but they didn't show because it actually was tomorrow (that wasn't so great) but then I went to Vivian's house! And I actually did essay work :]]]] Then at her house chu_totoro showed up for lunch and Vincent was there and we talked a lot. I mentioned my Stargate-Amnesia dream for the first time >.> And I ate a lot of yummy Asian sweets. I miss proper Asian food. They're always trying to feed me fusion at Wellesley. Stop it! It doesn't count D:<
Anyways, after that I went on a two hour walk with kindofinfinite which was really fun. We stopped at Blockbuster and decided that we wanted to have a movie night where we watch High School Musical 2 and High School Musical 3 because she never saw the second one and I only saw it once (I don't know; I somehow managed to fall in love with "Bet on It"). So that was awesome. I got back home and chu_totoro called to invite me to a percussion concert! I of course went and it was wonderful! I bought the instrumental CD for SHS 2007-2008 and am listening to it now. One day I hope that I can listen to a piece and know exactly what it is like her *jealous a little*
AND THEN SOMETHING ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL HAPPENED! I haven't been talking about it at all because it made me incredibly unhappy and miserable. I am very vain when it comes to my hair, and for the last month my hair has been disgusting. No matter how many times I washed or rinsed it, my hair felt like there was gunk in it. It wasn't as soft; it didn't shine as much; and yeah, it pretty much sucked. So Mom harps on my appearance like mad so she immediately had to comment on it, but she helped me get rid of with the wonders of lemon~! Now my hair is soft and shiny and smells good and looks better and my head feels lighter and I feel happier. I can't believe how much having soft hair affected my mood... I remembered where the gunk came from too. During Yuki Matsuri, Furukawa-sensei used her hairspray on my hair. That night I washed my hair four times but I couldn't get it all out. I think that's where the problem started. DO NOT USE SUAVE HAIR SPRAY I MEAN THE ONE THAT'S PINK AND YOU SPRAY IT LIKE THOSE TRIGGER THINGIES LIKE WINDEX AND WHATEVER!
But yeah, so that rocked. And then I forgot about another awesome thingie~! I never ever ever win icon tests. I enter a lot of them, but I never win. So, like, last week I tied for best interpretation in ala_corda_itest and was very happy as a result. Well, something better happened now. I am tied for an actual place in manga_itest I'm not going to say which are mine (I'm actually tied with two icons :D) but it's set up so that I'm guaranteed at least one award! I'm sure some people will be able to recognize one of the two which is mine right off the bat, but please only vote for it if you legitimately consider it better. I actually thought it was a poor icon... But! I want to find out how I did ASAP so PLEASE GO JOIN AND VOTE PEOPLE!
And another icon thingie I forgot is that someone actually commented on my icons in hatsuzora. I totally didn't think it would ever happen :] Today was just a completely wonderful day. Too bad I have to go do BISC 110 Lab work now...
