OMGGGGG yeah I cried when Amber died too. I was like "lol Cutthroat Bitch is finally going to be gone." But then she actually died and I was like "SALKFJDSALKFJS NOOOOOOOOOO DDDDDDDDDDDDDD:"

I really only cried when Amber died because of how sad Wilson was. And also because...well...she died. Lol.

So you know... I'm more of a lurker, but I'll always be reading this. Even if I fail too much to read comments.

Teaching yourself guitar is as easy as buying a book and a metronome. Learn to read notes and play at the right pace, and you're gold.
At least, that what I did xD
Work one lesson at a time until you feel comfortable, and even learn by playing songs you know to make sure you're doing it right. It helps immensely. I have a music book for From Under The Cork Tree, that's basically how I got guitar.
You definitely also need to have the willingness to learn on your own. If you don't have a clue, it's probably not the best idea xP

^^That's all I really know to say about teaching yourself guitar, even though it probably didn't help much. I tried.

Yeah I have a book somewhere...I looked for it today but I don't know where it is xD And I really need a metronome since my old one broke :D
But yeah I think I'm basically just going to have to work it out as best I can.

I'm not sure I like rule number 10.
The first thing that stuck in my mind was Brendon coming out of it with a deformity which makes me sad.
But wooo rules, now we can get down to the story!!
So excited for the next part.

Yeah I was sitting in Study Hall and I had nine solid rules down and I was like "I need something powerful for number 10..."
To me it kind of sets the mood for the whole story.
But yeah I sooooooo hope to start writing the next part as soon as possible. I have two study halls tomorrow, so I'll hopefully get some done. (:

You can definitely learn guitar without formal lessons. That's how I learned. The best way is honestly to learn from more than one source - there are a LOT of free sources on the internet and buying a book or two is always good. One of the best ways to learn is to get some basic chords under your belt and start trying to strum along to fairly straight-forward songs that just use 3 or 4 chords. You'd be surprised at how many of them are out there.

Also, it's great that you already know how to read music, but a lot of what's online is written using tabs so it's good to get familiar with that as well.
