Happy anniversary
Today is mine and Mike's 4 year anniversary! I am celebrating by going to play rehearsal tonight, fun fun. Because of that, I had to give him my whole weekend! Yes, my livejournal is older than my relationship. Awhile back we argued about what should be our anniversary, because as some of you know, there was some drama for awhile that involved other people that sort of kept us from being exclusive. In the end, I said that night was really the beginning of our relationship, and so despite everything else, it was the beginning, and we should use that. Reading it now makes me smile, and also want to barf at how giddy I was about that stupid song.
But anyway, our gifts to each other were lame lame lame....I got him a broom and a bucket and he got me silverware. How romantic, I know. But in all honesty, I would rather get things we need around the house than something nice and stupid. We did have a nice dinner at Las Mananitas....we talked about going somewhere new and fancy, but said fuck it, we'd rather go there...its like our Cheers or Central Perk. We got a premium tequila margarita pitcher, though, in honor of our special occasion!
