Moving out - phase 1

Subhanallah! Allahu akbar!

In a few hours we will be moving out of this apartment we have lived for two years. Goodbye noisy traffic. Goodbye random smelly smells. Goodbye flood. Goodbye dark dirt coming inside and sticking to everything. Goodbye ooky well water. Goodbye toilet that does not flush. Goodbye old building with no elevator. Goodbye power outlets that short out and making our power bill go up like crazy even though our consumption is so minimal. Goodbye careless building owner. Goodbye monthly rentals.

The only thing I will miss about this place is that it's located right smack in the middle of everything to ride. Jeeps, train, buses, tricycle, cabs. Also our privacy for two years. We've had our share of good memories and lots of bad ones too. All of them bringing us to this moment in our lives.

My old fridge has been picked up already. I bought that thing brand new when I was still in college and it has served us well. That was such a huge relief.

I will be offline after today and I don't know yet for sure when I can get back online again with all the hustle and bustle and running and flailing around.

Some recent annoyances and hassles happened but trying to get over those as well with LOTS of patience. I am not going to entertain further external drama than the ones we already have.

No one said this was going to be easy. I only pray for strength to endure them all and learn from them inshaAllah. Allah will never burden his creation with anything more than it can bear. He is All Merciful, The Compassionate.

I won't be able to blog anytime soon after this. Perhaps my next is when we get to stateside, inshaAllah.

Our prayers and thanks for the support we have received from family and friends.
