Hah! It's really hard to trust weather forecasts. I saw a sunny sun on my Yahoo page when I checked my email and guess what? It's raining again. It USUALLY rains whenever I have laundry hanging outside to dry. Alhamdulillah! I just want to view the rain as a needful thing and be grateful that I have a roof over my head and keeping cool.
Speaking of the rain, it was raining hard last Monday as I went to the post office to claim a package sent by my in-laws. What we usually expected as a regular shoebox size, turned out to be HALF MY BODY SIZE. LOL! As soon as the postal guy put it on the table. The first thing in my head was...WOW! How am I going to carry this all the way home. Duston should have been with me. But of course, he isn't so what to do? They poked a bit inside the box but no heavy inspection. Alhamdulillah! I was able to hail a tricycle and I was able to come home with the package with no incident. Haha!
I am very grateful to Allah for giving me very thoughtful and loving in~laws. I pray I will be able to meet them personally soon, insha Allah. We got lots of cool stuff and yummy stuffs as well. The Original MoonPie in banana flavor. Wow! It's a whole meal in itself. It's SO RICH!
My birthday is approaching on October 12 and we have all the ingredients prepared for leche flan (egg custard) and my grandaunt will be teaching me how to make this super duper dessert. This will be my first time in making one too. hehe! I hope it becomes edible. I refuse to fail. So far that's the ONLY plan I can say for now. Nothing specific yet. I think when one gets older, the anticipation is not as intense as whne you were younger. Although I still wait patiently for anyone to give me a balloon with my name on it. I raally would love one. Anyone? Meowwrrr?
That's all I can say for now. I'm trying to lift my spirits up on this cool, gloomy rainy day. As some of you may already know about the issues we've dealing with currently through my hubby's LJ, I can't bring myself to give blow-by-blow details regarding it. I'm trying to save myself from the stress it brings me. Insha Allah, I will post about it when things have been taken cared of. I feel it's better that way for me. I'd rather save my troubles to those who have been directly concerned. I pray to Allah for strength and patience in dealing with this matter. I haven't posted blogthings in a while and I recently discovered some interesting ones. Here are my results. enjoy!
