(no subject)
Apparently there was a chemical spill on the 405 today just south of LAX. I guess it woudln't have made that much of a difference commute wise for me since I'm north of LAX, but I can imagine how that fucked up everyone's Thanksgiving travels. The drive up yesterday took 4 hours and 45 minutes, 15 minutes short of my average, but it sure seemed long. So many trucks passing each other, I could never sustain a nice pace. I got home at 6:45, right when my dad got home. We went out to dinner and I was dead tired by 8:30. Fuck I'm getting old.
This morning my dad, mom and I got coffee and pastries in the mall. My mom already bought me some more clothes. I used to not care about how I looked, but lately I've become a fashion fag. Being single, I guess I gotta look my best. And even though my motivation is to impress chicks and ultimately get laid, it's making me a better person. I'm keeping my shit clean, getting shit done, exercising, etc.
Speaking of exercising, I watched MTV's Made today and they had some fat girl trying to make the volleyball team. She was pathetic and lazy, which made me want to get out. I ran two miles and stopped in the park to do push-ups, dips and pull-ups, then a cool down stretch. It's fucking cold in the Bay Area! 60 degrees about. It was 87 in LA on Monday! I actually wish I would freeze up in LA and start raining. Get some fresh powder in the mountains.
I don't know what the plans are for tomorrow during the day. My mom did most of the cooking today to make things easier, but I guess I have to make a few things. After dinner, I'm going to my high school friend's house to hang out with old high school buddies. I guess Randy and his wife Jessica will be there. We were good friends in HS but lost touch in college. He, Dave, Andy and I were like a quartet of good friends, so when I wasn't invited to the wedding, I was a little hurt because Andy and Dave were. But I realize that they stayed in the Bay Area and kept in touch with Randy. Oh well, chicks are supposed to care about that stuff, so I won't. :)
