In theory, the boys were here to help Blue pack up for school. In practice, they were constantly in the way and complaining about this unforeseen breakup of the group (Apparently, no one had paid attention all those times Blue told them she went to school in Maryland. She wished she could have said she was surprised.).
"How are we supposed to ever find Glendower if you're gone all semester?" Gansey asked, and Adam must have elbowed him in the side because he added hastily, "Or your mom, of course."
Blue emerged from her closet enough to snatch the mail off the dresser where Calla had dumped it and wave her schedule at him. "I have a three day weekend. It's not that far to drive. I don't think it'll be a problem."
Ronan, who had been taking up most of the available floor space ever since Calla told him to get off the bed, sat up sharply. "What?"
"I only have class on three days," she explained. "But one of my days off is Thursday, so." She would use that one to do her online classwork, she figured.
"What?" He snatched the schedule out of her hand.
"We only take, uh, specialty classes onsite. Everything else is online at your own pace." She wondered what he would make of her Friday class in particular.
"I'm transferring to your school."
Blue rolled her eyes. "You can't."
"I'm transferring to your school," he repeated.
"You can't."
"Why not?!"
Because she didn't know the policy on alumni from another dimension reenrolling, for one thing. "Uh, because it's past the transfer date. Now make yourself useful and find my pink leggings with the glitter on them."
