can we talk about the weather

The San Francisco lan was amazing. I didn't enjoy the first day because I was sort of in a sleep deprived haze, but it definitely went uphill from there. I got to meet a bunch of people I knew FROM THE INTERNET, most of them were really cool. The guys hosting it were awesome and went as far as buying Steam accounts for people without Half Life so they could see the glory that was Fullbright Boxwars and other ridiculous mods. I wasn't sure I was going to have fun at first because it was mostly first person shooters (which I'd never even played on a computer before this weekend), but I was pleasantly surprised. Some of the most fun was drinking 40s and looking through people's computers for porn to make fun of.

One of the best things, however, was the weather. The day I got there, the person who picked me up at the airport mentioned something about it being 80-something degrees out but it seemed more like how Florida's low 70s feel. I could actually walk around in the middle of the day and not feel like I was going to vomit! My resolve to move is stronger than ever.

Also there was a minimum amount of Warcraft playing, which was surprising at a lan where most of the people met through WoW.
