that means I have lost 10 lbs with another 18 lbs to go
I feel that I am eating well. It is by counting calories that I am achieving this new eating lifestyle.
amongst my new eating habits are...
Breakfast is always substantial.
I no longer eat butter/margarine on bread, etc
on the nights I work I take breakfast with me, and in the morning (at 5 a.m.) I have a breakfast of Shredded Wheat (one cup of the bite size) plus milk skimmed, calories 286. And for snacks I take a banana with two slices of bread, calories 309. That might seem a lot of calories, but it dose take me through a 12 hour shift.
At home I love to have porridge for breakfast, i.e. Oats (90 grams dry) cooked with water in the microwave for about 3 minutes, and a chopped banana. Total calories 459
Not eating butter or margarine with bread might seem strange, but it’s like I used to have sugar in cups of tea, and now I dislike sugar in tea... habits can be changed.
