Photo Post -- Saturday!
It's been awhile since I did a Photo post, so here we go! I've been lazy with pictures of Riverside, so here's a start.
I love starting my day with coffee and the crossword puzzle.
Then I decided to go for a walk -- this is the view from the Mission Grove neighborhood. If it was clearer, the mountains would be more visible, but they're there, behind the smog.
On the way home, I walked through the Conservation Gardens at the Water Treatment plan near our house.
Here is a date palm & the general idea of the gardens -- quite nice :)
Then I headed home because I was hungry... here is our apartment from the outside.
I made a sandwich and drank some juice, then went to sit out on the patio and read for awhile. Lina came too -- she loves the sun and getting really dirty rubbing herself on the concrete.
After awhile, I got hot so I came inside and started some laundry.
I just love having my own laundry in my apartment.
I made a necklace and listened to Sting.
Then I warmed up dinner (leftovers from our date night on Friday -- we went to the Chicago Pasta House and I had the Linguine ala Capriciosa, which was fantastic!) and we watched "Music & Lyrics". I love Hugh Grant's face in this picture! Ha!
Today the agenda holds getting my hair cut, buying groceries, making dinner and more reading on the porch. And hopefully talking to Megini, who is very good at playing phone tag with me. :)
