Exciting things
~ our new tent should be here tomorrow. this is our tent we will have to use when we are taking the dogs b/c heidi wouldn't fit in the backpacking tent with us. it's a shame. we spent a ton of money on that backpacking tent, BUT all is not lost, we can still use it when we go backpacking since dogs aren't allowed on the backpacking trails. and, this tent was what we got in exchange for returning 2 items boy and i got for xmas.
~ i just got an invitation for this year's yoga retreat at olmstead. i had so much fun last year...and, even though i didn't realize it when i signed up, it was something that i really *needed*. it was wonderful to be able to connect with other yoga students in that way. this year's retreat is by invitation only and only for teachers (unless not enough people sign up, which is quite possible). not sure how i feel about that. mainly, b/c that means that one person in particular is going to be excluded. i feel kinda bad about it b/c he absolutely loved the retreats and told me last year that he wanted to sign up for as long as they were being held. he was also a wonderful addition to the group. unfortunately, i'm pretty sure that he is a good part of the reason the rules had changed - it was just too hard to accommodate sleeping/bathing arrangements for him since none of the rooms are private and he was the only male.
