PHOENIX -- Beginning this week you could see more women breast feeding their babies in restaurants.
There also will be new penalties against those who hunt illegally as well as expanded laws to keep those who don't like hunters from harassing them.
Prostitutes and their customers will face mandatory jail time.
Speeders will have to spend less time in traffic school.
Homeowners will be able to fly military flags despite association rules to the contrary.
And it once again will be illegal to have sex with animals.
Other new laws in AZ:
- mandating that communities post signs warning motorists of red-light cameras and photo radar;
- requiring a report every six months from Child Protective Services of the number of youngsters in state care who die;
- making it easier for those who have to sue when denied public records to get their legal fees paid;
- expanding the duty of the state Ombudsman's Office to assist in citizen complaints about not getting public records;
- making it illegal to obtain someone else's phone records through fraudulent or deceptive means;
- clearing the way for the sale of E85 as a fuel, a blend of 85 percent ethanol and 15 percent gasoline;
- allowing higher fines for the sale of gasoline that does not meet fuel quality standards;
- establishing a state office to defend people accused of capital offenses.
