Writer's Block: Economizing

Jul 11, 2009 00:33

What an apt question for my current financial status. Haha. The answer is easy: food. I cannot imagine how much I get to spend on food whenever I: a.) forget to bring my lunch, and b.) stay at school for literally the entire day.

Today is a great example of that as I, dazed and on the verge of running for my life, abruptly awoke up from an unintentional extended sleep. (I heard gunshots; I heard angry, authoritarian screaming. I thought the military was finally after us... or just me.) A split-second later, the realization dawned upon me: I was one helluva late for the 9 am call time. I quickly looked to my left, grabbed my phone, and checked the time. Time check: 9:20 am. The realization gripped my throat for another second (though I was strong enough to break away from its clutches) and then I quickly ran off to the bathroom not a moment later.

And the rest is history. Or, rather historicity would probably be more fitting.

That's how the disaster of a morning for me went, leaving me with no choice but to dash out without any packed lunch with me. And so I was led to a repeat of Monday's food spree, hence ending up with a heavy expense and a lighter wallet.

Just when I thought I've finally tightened the leash on my wallet, money starts spilling from the edges unexpectedly.

Since I've already begun rambling about 'kerching, kerching' instead of writing a decent film critic for a 1940s film, I might as well ramble on about it.
  1. I want money.
  2. I want a Vivienne Westwood bag.
  3. I want to have my own leather bag made. Soon.
  4. I want more money.
I am not minding the impending head-ache I will definitely have in a few hour's time.
Oh, film class. Why? You're an interesting subject matter. Why can't I find any interest in you? Why must you be like all the other subjects gone to waste because of their dullness. *ehemehem* Why can't you be like Ethics? Err. That class reminds me that I almost ended up taking Philosophy in Ateneo had I not flunked the entrance exam. <-- There's sth definitely wrong with that sentence.
