I'm looking on JSTOR right now about music-color relation articles. It is kind of scary! I've found a couple articles that talk about proposed notation systems and arbitrary "mood" assignments, and one chromatic correlation but they hit a problem in organization (in my opinion) because they assign the colors to the harmonically wound-up notes in the scale. So, a harmonic fuster cluck would look like a smoooth sun set instead of a wild 20th century color splatter. Maybe I should just write up an article, spilling the beans entirely and submit it to a journal under a fake name.
