(no subject)
After doing a couple figure drawings, I have come to the conclusions that not only are they goddanmmm hard, but so especially are hands and faces. Faces I expected- a slight miscalculations, it looks 30 years older, or surprised instead wistful, or like a total idiot, or just skribbled and lopsided. But hands! Who knew that were so complicated! I didn't realize there were so many details. I suppose I should try the strategy I used for the faces- do as little as possible and let the veiwer's brain do the rest! Though, for a large detail, it seems like it could be good to put in more details. For now, I'm not sure how to do them so that they don't looks like monster hands.
Bears continue to make the best subject matter, but it is damn-near impossible to find tasteful semi-nude photos online, because, as I have theorized before, bears typically take bad photos of themselves. This needs to be remedied. Please bears: tasteful semi newd photos, at ONCE! (This is, of course, with exception to a couple I found. But aside from those... none!!)
