Fuckin' residency, how does that work?
Goddamn Massachusetts. Apparently I'm not a resident because I've only been living here for a year and three months, which just isn't good enough for them. Oh, no, in order to prove you live in this state you have to show them your 2009 AND 2008 tax forms, which, like, doesn't even make sense. Because they say you have to live here for 12 months prior to the start of the 2010-2011 academic year. Which I have.

Now that I think of it, it was really fucking naive of me to think that this financial aid bullshit was finally over with, because despite the fact that I've never gotten MassGrant funding before, for some reason it's now REALLY IMPORTANT that I make sure they know that I actually live here. Ugh.
Why is moving so complicated?
Anyway, I'm not going to do it, since they've never given me money before, and their requirements are so arbitrary, but still. Why should you be required to pay state taxes in a state you weren't living in? Fucking things make no fucking sense.
