I wish you could request stuff from iTunes

I'm taking a polisci class this term, and it has six people in it. It's a really laid back deal - the only grades we have are 5 short presentations (one for each country that we cover) and a midterm next week (which will be, like, concepts and an essay). And it's really cute because at the beginning, everyone was just silent and awkward because, come on, there are six of us. But now we're at the point where we can say a few words to each other. Just think - by the end of term, we might be able to hold actual conversations together!

I don't know why this makes me happy - I just really love MIT sometimes.

Another day, another tweet from Johnny. I'm trying to just stay positive and not worry about the future, and whether next season will happen or if he'll just go pro, or if he'll forgo all of that and just leave the ice entirely. The one good thing about this (and by "good" I mean slightly above the worst thing imaginable) is that I won't be a nervous wreck for Worlds like I was planning on. I'm Team Japan/USA, and while I'm hoping Jeremy can get his act together, I remain skeptical. I'll never, ever like PChan, though, and I'm not in any way emotionally invested enough in Joubert to care whether he does well or not. I mean, I wish him the best, because he's part of my crowd, as it were, but if he falls again I'll just wince and move on with my life. So basically I'm rooting for Daisuke all the way - it seems that Plushy already has it in the bag, but who knows, they were super close until the LP in Vancouver, so maybe Mr. Fierce can work it out. And I really hope that poor bb Rippon lives up to everything and gets those spots for the US, simply because, you know, I'm American and I want our boys to do well. Except for Evan. You are DEAD TO ME, bro. Well, skating-wise, anyway. Am looking forward to you dancing your awkward orange ass off.

I should probably go work on my slides now. SO glad the week's almost ever. We're going out on Saturday for Kirsten's 21st, and I really cannot wait. It'll be amazing.
