Just finished the True Ending for P4, about a year after I started the game the first time (this was my second time through). It's...I mean, if you're not really into gaming then it's hard to describe what finishing a game feels like, especially a 60+ hour JRPG. But it's quite a happy feeling, I can tell you. Apparently, the total time for my two games was 181 hours (yes, hours), and at some point I'm gonna go back in. (Because there's so much more to do! I'll FINALLY finish Naoto's S.link, and try to finish the fox's, and be a pimp (i.e. date all the girls), and kill the fucking Reaper, and fight Margaret, and fuse Izanagi-no-Okami ('cause damn, he was looking fly), and and and...yeah, there are lots of levels to this game.)

So, I don't know, I just felt like I had to memorialize this moment. I've now gotten all the endings, but obviously this one is the best. Not only because you actually get all the questions answered, but that bit after the credits, with the snapshot of your entire party? Oh god, happy tears for real. (Well, a happily-teared feeling, at least.) It's just so well put together, and fun, and the voice acting is incredible, and the characters are great, and in general it's just a spectacular game. So if you are into gaming in any way, I suggest that you play this, like, yesterday.

Ok, done with that! I'll probably hold off on that third play-through till I'm done watching the Giant Bomb Endurance Run, which is proving funny, if slightly irritating at times. I can't believe it took me so long to check out some Let's Plays. Because if they're well done, they're a lot of fun to read/watch, and can save you plenty of time. (Seriously: latent curiosity regarding FF8 = ELIMINATED.)

On the non-gaming side of things, today was Reg Day! Woo-hoo! False enthusiasm! Still registered for six classes, because I don't give a shit anymore. This way, I have some wiggle room when it comes to dropping things, and I'm hoping that if I have six classes to deal with, I'll be so busy I won't have time to slack off anymore. Not that I want to live in the library, of course, but after last semester I'll do whatever it takes.

I'm also excited because today is still Reg Day, and I'm sitting in my room instead of 26-100. Yes, as of today, I am officially no longer the Night Director in any capacity whatsoever. You have NO IDEA how happy this makes me. Like, I'm sorry someone else has to be there all the time, but it's not me! Hahahahaha!!!

No, but seriously, being Chairman can only be an improvement. I'm already getting used to running the meetings, and despite my hatred/terror of calling and talking to people, I can handle it when it comes to taking care of business. I'm kind of looking forward to this year in LSC, tbh. No scheduling to worry about, and all I have to do is stay on top of things. Sounds like a good deal to me.

Hmm, so much freedom tonight. It's wonderful. And tomorrow, the Oscar noms come out, but more importantly, LOST RETURNS FOR ITS SIXTH AND FINAL SEASON FUCK YEAH!!! (Expect a post about My Thoughts on Lost tomorrow evening or so.) Can't wait. But for now, I'm just gonna chill out, because my ankle still hurts and school hasn't started yet, so there's nothing to feel guilty about. It's rare, the non-guilt, so I want to make the most of it while I can. Have a good one, folks.
