Very occasionally, life is like that

Just popping in to say that The Gun Seller has what is probably the most perfect final sentence I've ever read.

It was a fun and funny book, all nice and twisty, but really - it was worth it just for that line. Oh god.

Well done, Huge. You should write more sometime.

Ok, other stuff right quick: Wtf, Christian Bale? Yay, TDK records! Watchmen (or Watchmen, I suppose) is kind of fantastic - I need to settle down and read the last five chapters. I really like "Smokers Outside the Hospital Doors". I officially take back any and all skepticism I had about Top Gear, because I've watched three episodes now and am pretty much in love with it. I get to meet a toy poodle at some point in the next few days. Mad Men marathon on Saturday, new season starts Sunday. Watched North by Northwest and liked it. Watched The Shining and, um, saw it play across my television screen? Idk, don't ask me about it. At least I've seen it now.

And now I'm done. Onwards to The Liar! And the rest of Watchmen. And, um, Conan Doyle and Blandings as soon as I get around to it. Ahh - so much to read, so little summer remaining...

EDIT: HOLY SHIT, THE MCCAIN GRAPHIC ON TDS JUST MADE ME LOL LIKE NO OTHER. OH HEATHUS CHRIST, THAT SHIT WAS AMAZING. *gets "All By Myself" stuck in her head*
