Fox is going into Reality Television overload... and I would be lying if I said I wasn't kind of excited about some of the shows planned for the near future.

First off is a show I almost can't believe is being made. The Littlest Groom is a two-part reality miniseries in which a vertically-challenged 4'5" man searches for love among women of ( Read more... )

I agree, when I saw the previews for The Littlest Groom I said out loud, "I can not believe that is on T.V." To me that is 100x worse than Janet Jackson's tit! (Excuse me while I break off into a tangent) WHO CARES THAT THERE WAS A BARELY VISABLE NIPPLE ON TV FOR .00009 SECONDS!! I don’t understand why America is still such a prudish country. On the BBC website, the next day, they had an UNBLURED picture of the boob to accompany the story about the halftime show. They obviously don't care in Britain, so why are getting congress involved and taking the whole thing to court. As a people, our country is probably more perverse than any other country; the only difference is that we are too afraid to admit it. I just can't believe it became such a huge deal (don't say I didn’t warn you about that tangent)

Anyway, about Forever Eden. the difference between this show, and your example of Temptation Island is the fact that this show does not end. There isn't a $1 million dollar check. There isn’t a winner. Imagine the true classic soap Days of our Lives set in the fictitious Midwestern town of Salem. Now we have 'Eden'. In Days 'the core families are the Hortons and Bradys. In Eden the Hortons and Bradys will be REAL PEOPLE, and the multi-layered storylines involving elements of romance, adventure, mystery, comedy and drama, will not be scripted from the minds of writers, rather played out by real peoples emotions, living in those situations. Days of our Lives began 36 years ago, and Forever Eden could potentially last as long or longer with lots of plot twists, but without a definite end.

The Simple Life tends to make me giggle now and then as well. My favorite line from the series to date was provided by Nicole Richie..."You smell like onions” I still smile when I think of that.
That show is one of very few that makes me laugh out loud.

By the way, American Idol tonight, blah. I’m worried this is going to turn into the UGLY IDOL like it was last season.... or maybe I'm just a bitch.... who knows...

I love you Kat!
