First Sixty Seconds
Below is the the first sixty seconds of Whoopi vs SilentBat. This past friday Whoopi and I attempted to practice with the stunt sabers I made two weeks ago but Whoopi's blade snapped in half five minutes into the practice. So we tried to mend that and get all together but that didn't work either. We tried taping the two broken pieces together with ductape which worked, but Whoopi's blade snapped again, only this time in a different place. Odd that mine came out okay; it's still intact and is laying on the side of my bed right now. Whoopi is going to edit the video we took of breaking the saber to trying to mend it to eventually coming up with a Plan C ... using my plastic sabers.
In other news for Whoopi vs. SilentBat, Whoopi is working on another teaser. The first teaser we had showcased the sounds of the lightsabers we are working with. This next teaser we are making is going to be of the production/behind-the-scenes stuff. That should turn out okay. It'll show how we snapped Whoopi's saber and all and how we thought we were going to mend it. Ooo! How could I forget! Whoopi vs SilentBat may be getting an original score. My friend has this program that can make music and he made a sample for us really quick and it sounded promising. The name of the the theme is called The Broken Saber, very fitting, huh?
I'm not so sure what's going on with the Disco Dan site. I hope to get that back up by the end of the weekend, none of the comics are showing up for some reason. I should also have a homepage up once the site is fixed so I'll have all my newspost be placed there, my livejournal, and my myspace blog.. I hope I can get it done tonight if my coder-friend could help me.

EXT. - HAMILTON ACADEMY - AFTERNOON
L.S. - Static shot of the facade of HAMILTON ACADEMY as text fades over as SILENTBAT and WHOOPI.
CUT TO:
INT. - HAMILTON ACADEMY - AFTERNOON
M.S. - SILENTBAT attacks and parries WHOOPI'S saber off-screen at a 45 degree angle to his right.
CUT TO:
M.S. - WHOOPI attacks and parries SILENTBAT'S saber off-screen at a 45 degree angle to his left.
CUT TO:
M.S. - Camera faces SILENTBAT'S back as he parries and attacks WHOOPI into a cut.
CUT TO:
M.S. - Camera faces SILENTBAT's front as he attacks WHOOPI who dodges to camera-left.
CUT TO:
M.C.U. - Camera faces the right side of SILENTBAT as he blocks WHOOPI'S counterattack. Camera pans right as SILENTBAT counters with a few strikes of his own until he jumps in the air to a cut.
CUT TO:
C.U. - Camera faces the front of SILENTBAT as he slams his saber to the floor, missing WHOOPI who dodges away camera-left. As a counter, WHOOPI comes out of his dodge into an attack which SILENTBAT rolls out of to camera's right.
CUT TO:
C.U. - Camera faces SILENTBAT'S front as he continues his roll into some lockers, smashing his back.
CUT TO:
X.C.U. - Half of SILENTBAT'S tilted face grimacing at the pain of his back and quickly openining his eyes.
CUT TO:
WORM'S EYE - WHOOPI begins to lift his blade to strike down.
CUT TO:
X.C.U. - Half of SILENTBAT'S tilted face lifting his lightsaber above his eye.
CUT TO:
X.C.U. - 45 degree angle to SILENTBAT'S left, his blade meeting WHOOPI'S saber in a clash.
CUT TO:
M.S. - WHOOPI struggles to keep SILENTBAT'S saber at bay.
CUT TO:
M.S. - Camera faces WHOOPI's right and SILENTBAT's left as their blades are clashed, SILENTBAT lower than WHOOPI.
CUT TO:
M.C.U. - Camera faces SILENTBAT with WHOOPI'S head camera-left. SILENTBAT'S saber moves dangerously closer to his throat but he manages to punch WHOOPI away with the hilt of his blade.
CUT TO:
M.S. - WHOOPI staggers back as SILENTBAT attacks with his lightsaber again, camera facing WHOOPI's right; SILENTBAT, left.
CUT TO:
M.S. - Camera tracks left as SILENTBAT attacks WHOOPI back off to camera-left.
CUT TO:
M.C.U. - SILENTBAT presses on the attack. Camera is at a 45 degree angle to SILENTBAT'S left.
CUT TO:
M.C.U. - WHOOPI blocks each attack. Camera is at a 45 degree angle to WHOOPI's right.
CUT TO:
M.S. - Camera tracks left as SILENTBAT continues to press WHOOPI back to camera's left.
CUT TO:
X.L.S. - Camera shots up at WHOOPI's back as he almost tumbles over a small wall as SILENTBAT is pressing him back.
CUT TO:
M.L.S. - WHOOPI holds his ground and bats away at SILENTBAT'S attacks. After SILENTBAT'S first strike, WHOOPI counters in SLO-MO. SLO-MO ends when SILENTBAT parries and attacks again. SILENTBAT comes short of his attack and is sliced across the shoulder and reacts immediately by lightly slashing WHOOPI across his belly.
CUT TO:
M.S. - Camera faces WHOOPI as he stumbles back.
CUT TO:
M.S. - Camera faces SILENTBAT as he stumbles back.
CUT TO:
X.L.S. - WHOOPI and SILENTBAT fall to their knees, staring each other down as they hold their wounds in deep breaths.
CUT TO:
