surprise visits are the best. especially in the a.m.
especially when you wish for it to happen, and it does.
is it weird to wake up in the morning, and look forward to lunchtime?
there are a good amount of photos i want to upload to my website. ones from home, from emerson, from long ago, and just last week. ill get em up soon.
im revamping parts of my room. knowing that im here in white plains for a lot longer than a week (like it was during vacations while i was at emerson) gives me good reason to switch things up a little. i started last week by taking down all of my... eep... korn posters. i also took down a couple star wars posters (mostly from episode 1). my ceiling is now empty, like most usually are. im not sure if i want to keep it that way or not but for the time being, its blank. anyone have any ideas?
as for my walls, i have a little bit of space near the side of my bed and on my closet door. i already ordered a new presidents poster:

and with my photosmart printer, i printed out pictures of loved ones from good times.. emerson, wp, roking out. now with some time and motivation, i should have my walls covered.... eventually.
the super suite is going to be so good next semester. i get a single, 714c, in a suite with matt james, frankie k, bitter ol' dan, emeen, and ton. ideas for how to make our common room super sweet continue to come to me everyday. we are going to hook that suite up like my brother and his wannabe '2 fast 2 furious' nissian. i look forward to it.
only 11 more days left of work. not that im counting down or anything.
pinocchio syndrome recording session is in two days! max is going to be at my house tomorrow at 1 so that as soon as i get out of work, we will leave ny and start practicing as soon as we get to his house in mass. we will record/mix/master "the unbreakable strain," "not a sound," and "an epilogue for y3k" on saturday and sunday.
i gave my pot smoking/growing neighbors a copy of the new radiohead cd and the pinocchio syndrome demos a couple weeks ago. i wonder what they thought about them. they are probably too busy making salsa with the reimbursed tomato i gave back to them yesterday... (they had lent me one earlier in the week for my sandwiches.) with all seriousness, they are great people and i hope they did like the cds.
joanna is creating some great artwork for pinocchio syndrome. she is already doing the liner notes for our page in the the 'beyond the skies records' compilation cd and is also working on a logo, show bills, shirt designs, etc.
ive been wearing a bandana a lot recently. and wearing my contacts for about a month now. and my state trooper/60s style shades. believe it or not, its not even about the looks (though i think very highly of these new found accessories). my hair doesnt bother me anymore and i dont squint anymore. it makes sense. and i like it. wonderful.
((please dont go. come with me. or screw it all and lets run away together.))
