so, amber and I got in a really bad car accident today. After a hour we left dobson to get breakfast at her house...we were going east on guadalupe towards alma school (in the left lane) and this big truck was waiting to turn left into the entrance of the east parking lot. There were no cars in front of me or behind me but for whatever reason he wasn't paying attention and turned right in front of me. I don't know how fast I was going but neither Amber or I even had time to screem before we had hit him...I had enough time to slam on the breaks and skid for like a second and then we'd already hit him...amber wasn't wearing her seatbelt though, so she left a big spider web crack in the windshield (with her head!!!!) and slammed her knee into the dash board...she went to the hospital and her head's fine and they gave her some pain medicine for her knee...man, it sucked though. I just knew it was going to happen..as soon as he started going I knew we were going to hit him it was so ridiculous for him to go then...he admitted it was his fault and there's no question about it that it was 100% his fault. holy crap...
anyways it was really nice that a bunch of people called me to make sure everything was ok...blah. I was so shaky this morning...my ribs are a little sore from my seatbelt but nothing worth complaining about...freakin I'm glad everything is ok.
I feel so bad for the other kid though, his insurance is gonna be so high! he has to pay for me to get a new car (if we're lucky it'll be able to be fixed but we're pretty sure it's totalled) and he has to pay for us to get a rental car...that sucks man...dang this makes me wish that i drove a bigger car because there was a dent in his car but like the whole front of my car was on the ground in pieces...it totally smashed in the entire front right side of my car...awww, the poor pt. cruiser, i love that car
