For the love of Sushi

Jun 01, 2011 14:54

Several weeks back, my friends and I decided to reward ourselves after a long week of patient care and went to have unlimited sushi at Sakae Sushi, Robinson's Place Manila.

It's not everyday when you get your food served to you via conveyor belt. So when one of my friends suggested that we go for some sushi after work, we all decided to try out Sakae Sushi.

We were all pleasantly surprised by the view that greeted us upon entering the restaurant.

Endless plates of sushi on the belt.

Time to get serious and tuck in...

You may opt to go a la carte and have your bill dependent on the color of the plate of the sushi

P39 for the blue plates ($.90)

P59 for the yellow plates ($1.39)

P79 for the green plates ($1.82)

P99 for the red plates ($2.29)

Or you can go for their unlimited sushi promo for P400 ($9.24). This would include all the sushi that you want from the conveyor belt, a serving of miso soup, and refillable iced or hot green tea.

Here are some of my favorites.

Unagi sushi

Fried chicken breast fillet (not a sushi, I know)

Uhmm... I don't know what it is called, but it was good.

Our friendly sushi chef, who gave in to our requests for more shake (salmon)

Part of our 75-plate high tower of victory

Not bad, not bad at all.

food, sushi
