What impact has number 1 had on your life?
My Chemical romance means so much to me. Gerard Way has been a personal hero to me for several years, just because he is so badass. His philosophy, and therefore the band's philosophy, on life is to have confidence in yourself, be comfortable with who you are, and anyone who causes you to doubt or wants to bring you down can fuck right off. It is a state of mind that I am still working on, but have recently made some strides toward.
When did you first get into 2?
I can't remember exactly, but I think it was when I was in middle school. I can't remember if I liked HIM before or because of watching Viva La Bam. I know that it was around the time that Wings of a Butterfly was really popular, but then I went through and bought all of the CDs that were out so far and fell in love with all of their music.
How did you get into 3?
I listened to Adam Lambert for the first time after American Idol was over, because that show sucks, and just loved his voice. He is a powerhouse when it comes to singing. The first song I heard was his cover of Mad World, which is so beautiful.
What is your favorite song by 4?
I have every Green Day CD, so it's kinda hard to pick a favorite, but right now, I'd say it's 21st Century Breakdown. That song is just so epic. It's kinda like someone said, "Can you distill what your music style is and put it all into one song?"
