Today I've Learned at the Library That...
I've stopped by the library on my way to cover a political event.
- I've learned that apparently hula hoop earrings are back in with pre-teen girls, which probably means the teens as well, because that's usually who they're following. This is just the right time for Jody Watley to strike and make her come back!
-Kids don't come to the library for educational purposes. It's about 10 kids here between 8 and 12, and not one of them is touching a book. They're all on the computer, and all on the internet. I'm quite sure none of them are doing research for a paper as half of them are on myspace; and the other half are looking up singer’s websites, on youtube, or doing other impertinent things.
