Monday morning blues....
Well the weekend was fun - Took Friday off and headed up through the islands to Victoria. The ferry was awsome - traveling from Anacortes to Sidney takes 3 hours but its through some wonderful views. Didn't see any Orcas though.
Stayed at a comfort inn overlooking Elk Lake - very pretty when its not too dark to see anything. Had dinner at this cute little pub - wonderful food some wine and desert- what was shocking was the bill - $48 Cdn. Now I know why all Canadians are rich!!!
Met with some archery friends. Was I that immature? It was good to see them - even better since it was only for a few hours! The sun was shining on Saturday and I got very burnt. Nothing new there - I am a scotman after all.
Sunday was a lazy day although we did christen the new deck - moved the dining table out and had dinner out there and then Smores over the fire - It was very relaxing.
Now we have a whole week of bullshit meetings and make do work to organize until the protocol for the clinical trial makes it through ethics review. Then i think Im off to London - Yeah...NOT
Can you tell Im a little in the dumps this morning - maybe its cause I haven't had any Joe yet?
