Title: Puppy Love
Pairing: Sehun/Lu Han
Rating: G
Genre: Fluff
Word count: 873
Summary: Sehun is Lu Han's puppy.

Sehun wasn’t sure how to react during his first encounter with Lu Han. Other than the initial shock of realizing that this baby-faced man, who also happened to be Chinese despite that pretty convincing accent, was older than him, the fact that the man’s first words after introducing himself were “Aw! You’re so cute! Like a puppy! Can I keep you?” really threw him off guard. The fact that it had left him dazed and understandably confused had somehow led to Lu Han taking his silence as acquiescence so that, in the next moment, he found himself in a bear hug with Lu Han patting his head affectionately while the rest of their newly formed group snickered in the background.

“Hyung, I’m not a dog.” He blurted out, muffled against Lu Han’s shoulder, when he finally regained some semblance of consciousness.

“Gege.” Lu Han said in form of reply, not ceasing the motion of his hand on Sehun’s head.

Sehun blinked. “What?”

“Call me gege.”

Sehun’s face scrunched up. “Hyung!” Lu Han pouted at him, looking more like a puppy than Sehun thought he ever would. “Fine. Gege.”

Lu Han beamed at him and returned to his patting. The others snickered some more. Sehun launched a well aimed shoe at the nearest person. (It was only Jongin; no harm done.)

It wasn’t so bad being Lu Han’s pet, it turned out. Once he got over the weirdness of Lu Han’s need to pet him every five minutes, he found that he quite enjoyed it.

Due to his mature exterior, everyone else tended to neglect that he was actually the maknae. Everyone except Lu Han, at least, who jumped in to help him or merely to spend time with him whenever possible. It was a refreshing feeling especially to a boy who had had to leave the comfort of his home to pursue his dream at such a young age. In time, he found himself seeking rather than just receiving the other’s affection, found himself looking forward to Lu Han coming by their dorm at precisely three thirty in the afternoon, after his vocal practice, to pick up Sehun, who was already waiting by the door, dressed and ready to go, for their daily trip to the bubble tea shop, found himself snuggling closer when Lu Han patted him or curled an arm around him.

“Off to another date with Lu Han-hyung?” Baekhyun called from the couch as Sehun padded to the closet to pull out a jacket at three twenty-eight.

Sehun frowned at him before shuffling over to sit at his usual spot beside Chanyeol where he had a perfect view of the clock mounted on the wall opposite. Three twenty-nine. “It’s not a date. Gege and I are just going out for bubble tea.” He couldn’t stop the warmth spreading through his cheeks however.

“Sure.” Baekhyun rolled his eyes at Chanyeol who giggled in response. “You really are like a little puppy. Like - what was that movie called? Oh! That Hachiko dog!”

Sehun turned his nose to the air with a haughty sniff. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.” The minute hand struck six and he immediately jumped to his feet just as the door opened to reveal a smiling blonde.

“Sehun-ah, let’s go!” He smiled at the sight of Sehun bounding toward him and waved at his hand at the other two. “Hi guys! Want to tag along?”

Sehun scowled, pulling at Lu Han’s arm. “Ge! Don’t invite them! They’re mean to me!” Lu Han laughed, giving the maknae a fond pat on the cheek.

Baekhyun waved a hand at them lazily. “No, we’re fine. Don’t want to tag along when you take your vicious little puppy for a walk. Please, do take your time.”

“Will do! See you later then.” Lu Han gave them one last cheery wave with a laugh, pulling Sehun along with him as the maknae gave his own not-so-friendly gesture that made Baekhyun sputter angrily at the closing door and Chanyeol guffaw like a madman.

They walked down the hallway leisurely, hands clasped together as usual. “You shouldn’t have invited them, ge.” Sehun mumbled, pouting a little, as he tugged at their interlocked fingers.

“Aigoo, our Sehunnie is so cute!” Lu Han laughed before leaning sideways to quickly peck on Sehun’s cheek then proceeding to walk as though nothing unusual had happened.

Sehun just stared blankly at the back of Lu Han’s head as he was pulled along. It wasn’t the first time the older one had done that, it was a wonder how often it happened actually, but, each and every time, he had acted as though it was perfectly normal. Sehun figured that the action was more like a pet owner kissing their pet than anything else (which, in Sehun’s opinion, was pretty nasty because, ew, dog drool and fur everywhere).

After a few moments, Sehun cleared his throat. “Ge?”

“Hm?”

Sehun took the opportunity to lean forward and give his own little kiss on Lu Han’s cheek; it immediately coloured pink, making Sehun grin.

“What was that for?” The hand locked on Sehun’s pulled him closer.

Sehun shrugged with a smile. “Just showing you how puppies show their affection.”

AN:
Totally not procrastinating on my other fics. (I actually just got my laptop back so I can work on the longer ones that were trapped in my poor laptop.)
Um... this totally wasn't made because I was flailing over Love Rain nor because Lu Han's reaction to Sehun is exactly how I react every time I see Kim Shihoo. Totally not. I swear he's like a puppy in that drama.

Ok, yeah, I'm going to go work on the others before I leave for the weekend. /scurries away
(btw, part of the MAMA-ish [no, seriously, it's not much like MAMA] has been sitting in my dormant laptop for a while [remember how I was saying that I was working on multiple fics before]. It's not long but if you want really short chapters (~1000 words) because I don't think I'll finish it soon considering the fact that I'm leaving this weekend and at the end of the month plus I have work, I could post one or two before my vacation.)
