YELLOW SLUG BUG, NO TAG BACKS!
Come Saturday... Me, Chris, and Mom are going to look at a yellow 1974 Volkswagen Beetle that a friend of a friend or a friend or something is selling for $200. We're going to see about it because apparently it runs nicely and he's just trying to quickly get rid of it. If I can learn 3 gear manual transmission (not three on a tree, but a floor stick) and it's in good condition it'll be my Christmas present on Saturday.

I want to be excited but I don't want to get my hopes up about it. Of course I'm not going to learn to drive it on the first day, but I'm willing to keep trying, and the thing I'm most concerned about is if the clutch and transmission are in good condition. And if anything since it's such an old car, repairs won't be that expensive. ANNND insurance will be pie.
If this all goes well... This will be the best Christmas present ever. Hands down. I'll be more of a hippy, with dreads... and a Beetle. LOL
ANYWAY. LUCK LUCK LUCK LUCK BE ON MY SIDE, PLZ.
AND OH YEAH: After 5 days or so of having dreads I ended up taking them out. Luckily I wasn't too far along, or else it would have been a lot harder to take them out. I shampoo'd thrice and brushed the shit out of my hair. I decided that I'd rather have someone who has done it before do it for me. I mean, sure they were cool on me, but they're undesirably frizzy. Now that I know I can pull them off, it'd be something for the future. I do have pictures. I'll post them later.
