None of the following are for challenges. None are rated higher than PG, if that. All contain spoilers for Chain of Memories, at the very least. All are one hundred words.
Title: To feel.
Word Count: 100
Spoilers?: From COM, certainly. About the Organization.
His eyes are frighteningly green, bright and burning as if with the light of a thousand poisonous tears. And yet all of the Nobodies within the Organization have that quality to their eyes - having no hearts, they cannot weep, but they are yet capable of feeling pain, and what can soothe a pain that cannot be expressed? Some reduce themselves to vengeful ciphers, little better than those shadows that were not strong enough to maintain their rightful forms. Others, like Axel, dream of a future in which they have hearts, and try to pretend that the others dream the same.
Title: To dream.
Word Count: 100
Spoilers?: Ayup. Through COM. Regarding Marluxia.
The last thing he thought of, even as the Keyblade’s chosen master stole his dreams from him forever; the last image that flickered through his mind was her face: glowing blue eyes, pale hair and a question on her lips: “What will happen when we are killed?”
His fears - the ones he treasured at night, when a chill wind sent clouds of cherry blossoms swirling around his room - were not that he would cease to exist, but that he would cease to have ever existed, rendering her innocent question as worthless as the dull void that rested in his chest.
Title: To create.
Word Count: 100
Spoilers?: COM, all the way, baby. Namine thinking of Marluxia. Is 'thinking' the right word?
She had often tried to draw him smiling - not the mocking half-sneer that passed for his smile, but a gentle, real smile, one that reached his eyes; a smile of the sort that none of the Organization were capable of wearing with any honesty. She wished she could have known him before this Castle, before he had given up his heart, when he was whole, but that predated her entire being. She was, after all, merely the dreaming shadow of a young girl, capable only of rearranging chains of memory. She had no ability to draw what could never exist.
Title: Purview.
Word Count: 100
Spoilers?: Through to the end of the first section of KHII. Ev'rybody's talking bout...Roxas.
Roxas, unlucky number thirteen, the youngest of them all - his eyes are bluer than the brightest sky, more blue than the rarest waters of a calm ocean in summer. His eyes are a color rarely found in nature, but often enough present in the materials used to recreate nature on a canvas or on paper. Namine has the perfect color in her box of crayons, and her eyes well with tears when she uses it.
Axel became caught up in the hazy maelstrom of those eyes and dreamed of a pure and eternal friendship. Thirteen was his unlucky number, too.
