(no subject)
Ok seems like time for a realy update... Yea, I've been meaning to do this for quite some time now but I kept on putting it off and I've also been busy doing other things. Anyway lets back track a little.
The forth was my birthday, yep so now I'm 17 lol. That day I went to see Fordhamn University's Rose Hill Campus with my friend Pawel. The college itself is really nice, they have like 100 somthing acres of land but its like right near a really bad area lol. When we got there Pawel calls me and was like "Yo Dave I got off the subway and now I'm somewhere in the middle of the Bronx and I have no idea how to get to the college." He was like I'm the only white speck in this area lol haha. Anyway so my dad asked the security gaurd how to get to the street Pawel was on and he went to pick him up while my mom and I went up to the entrance.
When we got there we asked one of the security guards where the informational session and tour was supposed to begin. He said that we had pissed it and that is was earlier that morning at 11 not 1. I was like what!!! no fucking way, I scedualed a tour for 1 and I was 100% sure of that. My mom however was pissed, she went on ranting about how irresponsible I am and whatnot. I really didn't need this bullshit cause I was now starting to think that maybe I had made a mistake. I felt really dumb. Anyway my mom called my dad and said that we have to go home blah blah blah. Pawel called the school and they told him that we could still sceduale a tour whenever we want so my mom and I walked up to the office of admissions.
When we finally got there we saw a bunch of people waiting for something and we were also greated by my school president, Fr. Gatti. We chit-chatted for a while and then he had to go. When my mom went to speak to the secretary about scedualing a tour she said that there was actually going to be one starting at 1, and guess what? That's the one I was scedualed for, hah who feels stupid now?
The tour started before my dad and Pawel were able to get to us so we went without them. First stop was the library and following that we met up with them. The tour guides showed us the dorms, class rooms and lots of other stuff, it was pretty informative which I guess was the point lol.
After that we decided that we were hungary so we went to Arther Ave. which is the old little Italy in the bronx. There we ate at an Italian resturant which actually wasn't bad and after that my mom decided to go shopping at an Italian specialty store lol. Whatever, she got a bunch of stuff like cd's and dishes and stuff.
Later that night when we got home some of my family came over for my birthday. I got some cool things including a white gold bracelet from my parents and a 128 megabite mp3 player/ flash drive from my Uncle and Aunt. My garndparents gave me money and my cousins got me a book on the pope...yey! (sarcasm)
That weekend we went upstate with Benny's friend Matt Castalano and my cousins Yara, Giselle and Nadine. It actually wasn't too bad since they were all there cause they'r was always someone to hang out or talk with.
I tried teaching my cousin Yara (who's 18 lol) how to drive and it almost ended very very badly. Anyway I took her on the road and just showed her what to do, it was her first time driving so I'm not gona judge her, lets just say she's gona need lots of practice. I figured, hey how bad can it go, you see a car on these roads like once every hour, little did I know that that wouldn't be the case, as soon as we go around we saw a bunch of car's lined up and a traffic director, then Matt goes "Yo watch the cops me here" I just dismissed it and was like nah I've never seen a cop here in like 16 years lol. I was wrong as soon as we got closer we saw a bunch of state troopers with vans and cars parked on both sides of the street. We were gona be so screwed lol my cousin was driving without a liscense and had no idea what she was doing lol. They were directing her throught and it was a very narrow passage. Lol I was like "Yara please just pretend like you know what you're doing" She was gona hit the van or worse a cop lol I just knew it, i brang my arm under the weel and started strearing for her. Thank God the cops didn't notice that lol. Omg we were so shooken up after that lol.
Nothing more really interesting happened upstate. We got back on sunday night.
The next day Yara and Giselle came over because Nadine had to work in the hospital till late. They slept over, allw e really did was hang out and stuff, nothing particularly interesting. They left to go back to boston on thursday.
Since then I've just been hanging out and stuff, two nights ago Raffy and Andrew were over and something happened that really pissed me off but I don't wana get into that.
Other then that there is something I've been meaning to do lately and a few people are telling me to do it but I'm just not sure lol. Maybe it's because I don't know how to but whatever I'll see what happens with that.
