Normal procedure would be to have a long and disconcertingly odd post dedicated to this welcome, but things have picked up again, work-wise. (And by picked up, I mean I had the conversation this afternoon of "hey, how is work going on that thing?" "I...haven't needed to work on that kind of thing in weeks." "no, the new one. that you're supposed to do for tomorrow." ".../SCREAM" but luckily for me it turns out they were wrong and I have more time than that to do it in. PHEW.) This also makes it look quite likely that I won't be able to actually have anything happen to Fenimore for the event, except maybe if I put up a placeholder on Saturday. A little disappointing, since I thought of a variation on genderbending that I thought would be amusing, but that's how it goes.
After Monday, I should be back in the swing of things, to some extent, though. Not exactly free, but having more time. At least I was able to relax a bit on Monday and Tuesday, even if now I am wishing I hadn't.
