I love M*A*S*H
Well, I've been doing this "student teaching" thing now for almost two months. I can remember back to the first day, when I decided that I didn't want to be a teacher anymore...seems like yesterday. boy, time sure does fly when you're pissed off that you have to keep doing this for the rest of the semester. well, anyway. Here's the problem now. What do I do instead of teaching? I will have a degree in technical theater in May, but I have no specialty. I'm not trained well enough in any one, specific aspect of theater to really pursue something like lighting design or stage management, or set design/construction, etc. I really just have a general, broad, overview of an education in theater. So here's what I can do with that...I can work at church for less than less than minimum wage and make stupid movies for the Burn. Sure, I could take my love for retarded videos on the road...try to find a huge, super, mega-church that would have room in the budget for a full-time creative arts staff position in a youth department. but I don't think I'd really like to be at a huge church like that. I guess I have time to figure it out. I'm bored. I'm going to watch M*A*S*H.
