I'm ready to revolt.

Thursday was wet. I was caught in a torrential downpour walking from lit to the office, and ended up warming myself on $1.99 coffee from the Stop 'n Rob.

The A/C in the office still isn't working. It's been eighty degrees for a week, and no one from maintenance would come until their boss MADE IT SO. Even then, Ms. D understood the A/C system more than they did. My money says it'll still be broken tomorrow morning.

Class books were a cold $450.00. I'm going to the publisher's building and burning that place down. It is not okay to ever charge that much, especially when the books are used. USED. As in PREVIOUSLY OWNED. And what's up with constantly spitting out new editions, making it impossible for me to sell them back or find used editions for cheap? Why put out a new humanities book when NOTHING in Greek history has changed? Troy was still sacked. Rome still fell. Not what I'd call a newsflash.
