Six and a half days left of school. Then I'll be homeschooled! Hello, excited.
Everyone has cool lives except for me.
I decided that I'm making my back yard into the "Halloween Town" song scene.
And my mom is supporting me through this, probably because she thinks I'll give up. BUT I WON'T.

When you first walk into the back yard, there will be this gate.
but a picket sized version. I'm going to try to find a rod Iron gate, and set cement pillars by it and try to distress and hammer a piece of rod iron to make the top part.
D: My mom wont let me weld ANYTHING.
this will go around the backyard, it will be fake rod iron panelled fence things. There will be about seven pumpkins scattered along the fence with faces similar to those. I think I'll be using the fake pumpkins you get around halloween for that.
Since we are gettin a willow, it better be included in this project!
This will probably be an addition in a few years because we have not ordered out willow yet and I need a big willow for this. I will probably end up carving the face into the tree and make milk carton skeletons to hang up there by thick rope, if you have a better way to make a hanging waterproof skeleton PLEASE LET ME KNOW!
I will be adding Sally behind the willow, but I am not exactly sure how to make her. Any tips on how to make a waterproof Sally would ALSO be appreciated
I also have a garden which I am trying to hide for this project so it is going off into some corner they planter boxes in which the plants are in are going to be spray painted black with Burton-esque painting on them if you have any clue where I could find some free Nightmare or any Tim burton movie stencils I would love you forever. SOO to add some Nightmare flare to my garden, there will be a Jack scarecrow similar to the one in the movie.
Once again, using the fake pumpkins as a head and adding a battery operated FAKE candle light for when Im sitting outside.
Everyone knows the sneaky pranksters of Halloween Town MUST be included in this setting.
my mom and I are going to cruise around some junk yards to find a tub similar to theirs. Lock Shock and Barrel will be put in the shadiest corner of our yard, secluded from everyone and watching everyone. But I don't know what to make Lock Shock and Barrel out of. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.
AND MY MOST CHALLENGING PROJECT OF ALL
The waterfountain. I have NO idea how I am going to pull this off.
The fountain will most certainly be a challenge, it be about six feet, im hoping.
All I know is how to wire it and make the water green. Other than that I am clueless on how to make this piece. Any support would be helpful! (I sound like a broken record)
I am going to paper mache the corpse kid peering into the fountain, and Jack poking out like he is in this picture. I am not sure how to do Jack either. Does anyone know how to make a water proof sealant on paper mache?
I am also going to add the mayor somewhere in this mix because the mayor is the best.
