I'm still here...
Hello again everyone. Happy September.
September is always fun in my family because my sister and my Mom have birthdays in September. My Mom is planning a party, of course. And Kimberly and I are really looking forward to it.
We still haven't planned our own party in a while, but it's probably because my family has been coming over to our house to play board games and chit chat almost every Thursday.
My health seems pretty good. I'm still working part-time and will be until the end of January. I had an appointment with Dr. Anderson today as a follow up. He has ordered that I get a new PET/CT scan. Last year when I got the scan it was really expensive because my income was really high and I didn't qualify for any help. This year I think I will qualify for assistance. I have an appointment with JPS (John Peter Smith Hospital) to discuss the money stuff next week.
I still get pretty tired after my treatments but on days when I haven't "shot up" I'm in really good shape. I work in the yard and do projects around the house and I have taken responsibility for the merchandising at my Compusa store, a lead position (not management)
I've thought a lot about going back to management but I'm still going to wait as long as I can.
Kimberly and I are doing great. We had another great month together. We have been to some concerts, the wax museum and lots of restaurants lately. She has started school again and work so her days are really full. I've got plenty to do when she's gone though. I have a new enthusiasm for my real estate courses and have been working on them more and more. I still want to finish the classes by the end of the year and hopefully I will have my license by March.
My computer is down right now so I don't have any of my pictures to post. It's kinda of scary because I have a lot of stuff on my system and it's been a while since I backed up anything. I think the hard drives are ok though. I think my mother board is fried because I changed out a bad power supply and it turns on now but there is no video at all. I'm taking it in to work tomorrow to have my tech shop check it out. Free???
Ok this is getting pretty long so I'll end it now but there is so much more I could talk about. Maybe I should post more than once a month huh...
