Well, some of you also read my girlfriends journal to keep up with whats going on and I'm sure that you read about our new cat. Kimberly and I had a wonderful evening together on our anniversary (March 31) and decided to get a cat. His name is Queso. So far, he has been a bit of a handful because he is sick from the shelter. I took him to the vet and they think he'll be ok in a few weeks but he seems to be getting worse. If he doesn't stop sneezing and snotting in another couple of days I think I'll have to take him back to the vet again.
In the next few days I'll post some pictures of Queso for those of you who are interested. Especially Jo, my grandma.
My birthday is only in a few more days so I am getting excited about my party. I've got about 12 people coming which should make for a really good time. It is so nice to be inviting people to a house instead of an apartment. Last year was crazy when I stuffed about 10 friends into that tiny apartment. It almost started fights among the drunk ones. :)
Isn't it great that Kimberly and I have been together for a year. Everything seems to work out for the best. This past year has been amazing and I can't wait to spend another year with her.
Work has been going well. I don't really do much so I'm really good at it. :) And I feel like I'm at home more than work for the first time in a long time. Even when I was on medical leave it felt like I was working at the hospital. Hopefully one day I will be able to work mostly from home. Maybe in a few years I will be good enough with real estate that I could get a brokers license and start my own shop. Who knows...
The real estate (RE) training is going really well. I'm about half way through my first course and haven't been spending a ton of time on it. So if I really put some extra effort into it I know I could do even better. The cool thing is that RE companies don't really care how well you did on your exams, they just want to know if you have the license. So the goal is to get the paper (license), not be the head of the class. Once I get into sales training, that will be the time to shine. Can't wait.
Cancer news. not much to report. I have been doing pretty well since I'm working less and I am finally to the point where I don't need to see a doctor for two months at a time. I did however see my dermatologist the other day and he took off 3 more moles. They all checked out ok but one of them will need to be cut deeper to prevent any future problems. I get that done sometime next month.
Ok, well that's all for now. I'm getting back to my classes now.
How to hear from all of you again soon.
Love love....
