Why not to read spoilers

Mar 23, 2009 00:41

Was going through some House spoilers and I found out that there will be another death this end of season. Isn't it a little over-rated by now? I mean, once you kill off too many people, your audience comes to expect it and it becomes boring.

For example, when watching Stargate SG-1, everytime there is an episode which involves an Alternate Universe/Future/Past plot, all of them will kick the bucket. After watching a few of those episodes in the original series, I was expecting that too when I watched the movie (Continuum, I think).

And now in House (to, I don't know, up the tear-jerker factor?) they're planning to kill another person. No ideas as to whom yet, although there's lots of speculation going on at the moment. BUT IT BETTER NOT BE WILSON!! If it was Wilson, it will quite probably turn me off watching House for, like, ever. As per Eureka. I still haven't gotten around to picking it up yet after they killed of one of their major cast. There's a humongous amount of Wilson fans out there (as seen in the spoiler thread), and we're all terrified that he's the one who's going to get offed, as the death is said to have a huge impact on the whole show and everyone in it. But it could be our overzealous fangirling speaking. I can only hope.
Here's hoping Robert Sean Leonard hangs around. Coz Hugh Laurie, talented as he is, all alone playing House? Won't quite have the lure for me. He'll only end up with 2 interaction options - 1. insulting others, 2. UST with others. There won't be anyone where he can just be with.

So House writers, do the right thing and DON'T MESS WITH PERFECTION!

Also, a couple of really cute and hilarious chibi!House M.D. comics. I especially love "House Speak" because it is so TRUE.
